Warwick is the Partner in Charge at KPMG’s Wollongong office, and is the Lead Partner in the Audit and Advisory division, which includes external audit, internal audit, risk management and due diligence assistance. This provides him with direct exposure to a wide range of businesses across the Illawarra in almost all industry sectors. He has been with KPMG for more than 25 years, having also worked in the firm’s Sydney office and at its office in St Albans, near London in the United Kingdom. He has been a partner since 2001, and the Partner in Charge since July 2015.
Warwick has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Registered Internal Auditor.
Warwick oversees the judging of the Illawarra Business Chamber’s annual Business Awards, is a member of the Olympic Fundraising Committee. He has also held a number of board and committee positions in his local community, and is currently committee member of the Jamberoo Touch Football Club. Warwick is also the Chair of Smiths Hill High School Council Advisory Board. Warwick is also on the Community reference group of The University of Wollongong.
