Linda has more than 32 years’ experience in statutory and strategic planning which has enabled her to develop expertise in regional scale strategic planning, writing complex documents, multi-stakeholder engagement and negotiation, governance and government decision making processes.

She has gained great respect for her ability to think strategically and deliver practical solutions to complex planning challenges.  She has worked across a range of disciplines which intersect with strategic land use planning such as infrastructure, transport, education, environment, urban release planning and economic development.

The first phase of Linda’s career was based in local government which enabled her to develop expertise in statutory and strategic planning at a local scale.  The second phase of her career was focussed on regional scale strategic planning for the New South Wales government, successfully leading and authoring several strategic plans. 

Linda has recently returned to local government as the Director Environmental Services at Kiama Council.
