• The NSW Government has secured the major annual air show Wings Over Illawarra at Illawarra Regional Airport for 2015. It will be a two day event on May 2 and 3. An expected 11,000 visitors from outside the region will inject an estimated $1.7 million into the economy. The region’s reputation as a destination for aviation based tourism was enhanced by the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) receiving a donated Qantas B747-400, the first in the world to be preserved for public display.
  • The Nanjing Suite: An Australian-Chinese Musical Collaboration.
